Isabella Aletrakis is a dancer and artist from New York. She began her dance training at a young age and attended Long Island High School for the Arts where she was awarded Newsdays Long Island Scholar Artist and also debuted her first choreographic work entitled, "Demons in my Head." She was recognized as a scholarship recipient by the New York City Dance Alliance College Scholarship Foundation to continue her studies in dance at Point Park University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude receiving her BFA with a concentration in ballet and a business management minor. Throughout her collegiate career, she had the opportunity of learning and performing works by Justin Peck, Daniel Karasik, and Marius Petipa. While studying at Point Park University, she had the opportunity to debut her most recent choreographic pas de deux entitled, “Contemplations in Dissonance” in the Student Choreography Project concert in the fall of 2023. In the summer of 2023, she had the opportunity to study with Medhi Walerski at Orsolina 28 in Moncalvo, Italy. Post graduation, Isabella signed a trainee contract with the Ballet Theatre of Maryland for their 2024-2025 season. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of the support and love they have shown throughout.
